Meet the Endodontist

Dr. Kim Wilkinson

Dr. Kim L. Wilkinson graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Zoology and received his dental degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1997.

Dr. Wilkinson was commissioned as an officer in the Air Force Dental Corps in 1997. He completed an intensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at Offutt AFB, Nebraska in 1998. He then served as a general dentist at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska from 1998 to 2002. While in Alaska, he was chosen as the 3rd Dental Squadron Officer of the year and the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Junior Dental Officer of the Year. In 2002, he was assigned to Rhein-Main AB, Germany where he served as the Chief of Dental Services.

He completed his endodontics residency through the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, Texas in 2007. After completion of his residency, Dr. Wilkinson was assigned as the Clinical Dentistry Flight Commander and Chief of Endodontics at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

Dr. Wilkinson joined North Pointe Endodontics in July 2010. He resides in Edmond with his wife, Becky. They have six children and are awaiting the arrival of their 1st grandchild. Away from work, Dr. Wilkinson enjoys running, following BYU sports, and traveling with his family.

Dr. Wilkinson in an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Oklahoma Dental Association.
